Canon 7095 Printer Errors

The Cannon 7095 has a touch panel on which error messages and other messages about your printer will appear, in orange. If you receive a message, you will not be able to print without taking further action.

Service Call

All "Service Call" errors require the same fix no matter the cause. To fix a "Service Call" error, you need to press the "Additional Functions" button, press "Printer Settings" and then press "Reset Printer." There are three main "Service Call" errors. E730-1001 is an initializing error. E730-100A is an internal error. E730-100B is a font error. If you have performed a system reset and the problem persists, call your local Canon dealer.

Error Skip

An "Error Skip" message is a minor error. You are allowed to skip the problem and continue to print by pressing the "Error Skip" button. Pressing this may cause you to lose data, however. Most "Error Skip" messages occur because there is not enough memory available. Insuring you have enough memory before beginning your print job will prevent future messages.

PDL L. Paper + 1200 dpi Err

This problem occurs because the resolution is set to 1200 dpi with large-scale paper and there is not enough memory. To fix this, you need to set the resolution to 600 dpi and try printing again.
PDF Error

Both types of PDF errors, "PDF Comp. Analy. Err" and "PDF Data Error," are the result of trying to print PDF data that is not compatible with your printer. Print data that is compatible to avoid this error.

Fix Printer Error 1068

When you attempt to print a document or image on your PC computer, you may occasionally receive a message about Error 1068 saying that the system's print spooler could not be started. When this happens, you will need to manually restart the computer's print spooler in order to fix the error. The system's print spooler is used to transfer data from a computer to a printer's memory.

Instructions

Open the Start menu and click on the "Control Panel" icon.

Open the "Administrative Tools" folder and then double-click on the "Services" icon.

Scroll through the list of system services until you find "Print Spooler."

Highlight "Print Spooler" in the list of services and click on the "Start" link on the left side of the window.

Restart your computer and then attempt printing a document or image again. The Error 1068 should no longer appear.
